How can I participate?
- By attending and participating in general meetings, conferences, seminars, local and regional meetings
- By bringing issues of concern to adult learners to local, regional and national fora
- By nominating and electing representatives to the AONTAS Executive Committee each year
- By disseminating at a local level information and research undertaken by AONTAS
- By documenting models of best practice in adult and community education and sharing them with AONTAS
- By gathering case studies and sending them to AONTAS
- By tabling resolutions on policy issues for discussion at AGMs
- By writing for the AONTAS magazine, Explore and by contributing to the ebulletin.
- By becoming involved in the Adult Learners' Festival and acting as a local link for the festival (link to festival website).
- By joining the Community Education Network if you are working in the field of community education (link to CEN section)
- By joining a Learner Network if you are an adult learner (link to Learner Network section)
