What kind of membership is right for me? (Individual or Organisational)

Benefits of joining as a group or organisation: Organisational Membership

Choose this form of membership if you are part of an organisation or are a group of learners. This will allow all members of your organisation to benefit from AONTAS membership, it is cost effective and also provides us and you with greater weight for lobbying. It will also allow you to promote your organisation on our website, e-bulletin and through the AONTAS magazine, Explore.

Stephen FlittonTestimonial "AONTAS provides excellent information on a whole range of subjects, including developments at both governmental and local level and events taking place throughout the country... AONTAS has also provided us with an opportunity to network with other community and adult education centres throughout the country. This allows the opportunity to discuss problems or issues that we have in common as well as to share solutions and experience."
Stephen Flitton, Warrenmount CED Centre

Benefits of joining as an individual: Individual Membership

Choose individual membership if you are an adult learner or adult educator/provider and are not part of a group/organisation. This will allow you to gain information about what's happening in adult and community education and allow you to be part a movement that promotes lifelong learning.
Mick PowerTestimonial "I'm really pleased to be involved as a member of AONTAS and to be able to add my voice to the work of lobbying for the provision of increased resources to a much neglected sector within our society...Being a member of AONTAS has made me more aware of the fantastic work that service providers and individual adult learners are doing all around the country. It has also opened my eyes to what I can do to support others in our learning communities. For these, and many other worthwhile reasons, I am happy to partner in the work of AONTAS."
Mick Power, Adult learner and practitioner

Benefits of joining as an associate member: Associate Membership

Choose associate membership if you are an individual or part of an organisation that is involved in adult learning from overseas (outside the island of Ireland). This will allow you to gain information about what's happening in adult and community education in Ireland and allow you to be part of a movement that promotes lifelong learning.
