Since 2003, AONTAS has been supporting the development of a Quality Assurance Framework (QAF) for the sector, in partnership with a number of women's groups and networks. In 2007-2008, the groups that have taken part in the Mainstream Phase are :

AONTAS is hosting this event with two important purposes in mind. The first is to celebrate the achievements of the groups involved in the Women's Community Education QAF project. The second is to discuss the future of the Quality Assurance Framework.

The event is open to all Women's group interested in the QAF.
