Rathmines/Pembroke Community Partnership Open Day

This event aims to

- Make newly unemployed people aware of their entitlements
- Raise awareness of sources of information available
- Provide information on a range of adult education and training possibilities
- Allow unemployed individuals to make contact with relevant agencies
- Provide practical information/leaflets on procedures for signing on, accessing services, accessing education and training, accessing enterprise supports, accessing budgeting advice
- Gauge the needs of unemployed people
- Gauge interest in follow up events such as workshops etc
- Gauge interest in local/tailor made training
- Gauge education and training needs
The event will highlight the role of local development companies in collaboration with relevant agencies in responding to unemployment.
