Bray Adult Education Network 'Celebrate Learning in Bray'

The BAEN is organising a ‘Celebrate Learning in Bray’ event to coincide with the Aontas Adult Learning Festival. This will take place on Monday 20th February from 10am to 1pm in the Beach House, Strand Road, Bray.
We are encouraging Bray Adult Education Network members to have an information stand on display at the event. We are also asking Network members to confirm attendance and indicate how many learners they will bring to the event. This information can be provided on the registration form enclosed and returned to Margaret at Bray Area Partnership.
The programme for the morning is as follows:
10:00am Arrive & registration (tea/coffee)
10:30am Welcome
10:35am Short drama: ‘I can learn’
10:50am Personal Account: ‘Adult Learning in Practice’
11:00am Guest Speaker
11:20am Concluding remarks and thank you
Service providers and learners present will then be free to informally network and exchange information. Learners, in particular, can view the display stands and learn about other options and progression routes. The room will be open with display stands and information leaflets until 1pm. This may suit groups and learners not able to attend the morning event but interested in viewing adult learning options and supports available in Bray. Please support this event by making adult learners aware that there will be information stands/ tables available between 11:30 and 1pm, open to the public.
