Start date: June 2023

Duration: 15 months

Through this project, CEN members can spend a few days with another organisation elsewhere in Europe and learn about approaches to adult education, and share their knowledge and practice with the hosts too.

We are coordinating and planning each mobility. This includes arranging flights, accommodation, and the learning programme with the host organisation.

There are 12 community education organisations involved from across Ireland. This is one of the many benefits of being involved with the CEN.

This project provides excellent professional learning experiences for community education staff.

It also provides a space for adult learners to gain an understanding of adult education in Europe to work with peers in similar organisation from where they are undertaking their courses and share experiences.

The knowledge gained through participating in the projects serves to enhance our work both in Europe and at home in Ireland.
