This is the first of our National Classroom Series, a series designed as a blended learning resource for adult educators and their learners. The resource will be streamed on the AONTAS Facebook channel from 1.00pm - 2.00pm and will be available afterwards to use as a resource on the AONTAS YouTube channel.

Key speakers include:

Dr. Paul Gaffney, Lead Consultant in High-Performance Sport Clinical Psychology, Sport Ireland Institute who will look at positive mental strength aspects we can learn from the rise of Cavan GAA inter-county footballers. Paul will also discuss what adult learners can take from the unlikely Leicester City FC Premier League title win in 2016 and how key aspects can relate to our mental health during the current pandemic.

AONTAS member Mental Health Ireland has also included an insightful presentation by their Finola Colgan, Development Officer. Finola will look at the Supportive Steps to Enhance Learning in these challenging times.

Both speakers have also provided questions for further debate which can be used by educators.
