This first session will include coverage of the following topics:

This November AONTAS will promote UN Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4. This goal is relevant to all involved in adult learning as it aims to ‘ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all’.  We are delighted to be able to focus two of our Membership Update and Engagement Webinars on the Saolta Development Education Project.

Look out on Twitter and Facebook for relevant AONTAS content with the hashtag #SDG4.

Saolta is a Development Education strategic partnership programme for the Adult and Community Education sector in Ireland. The programme is an Irish Aid Funded consortium project which is led by Development Perspectives. The other partners in the consortium are AONTAS, Irish Rural Link, Concern Worldwide and the Department of Adult and Community Education of Maynooth University. The goal of Saolta is increased accessibility, quality and effectiveness of development education within the adult and community education sector.
