Please note this is not an AONTAS event
As an adult learner, are you interested in sharing your ideas and experience about the cost of adult education in Ireland at the moment?
Or do you work with adult learners who want to share their views on the cost of education?
There is an event coming up on 3 April in Croke Park in Dublin, run by the Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation, and Science.
The Department want to hear from adult learners from across the country.
This input will inform the Department’s spending plans for 2026.
30 learners in Further Education and Training (FET) are invited to this event.
This includes people at all levels and programmes (full-time and part-time), including literacy, Community Education, Employability Skills, ESOL, Post-Leaving Certificate (PLC), Youthreach, Community Training Centres, Traineeships, etc.
They are looking for a wide range of people with different experiences to help them plan.
Read about last year's event here.
Our team is offering a preparation session in the week before the event. This is to give learners some time to think about and plan for their contributions in advance. There is no prior experience necessary.
Members of the AONTAS team will also at the event on the day to provide support.
Places are limited, so please get in touch soon with questions or to sign up to attend.
