Learning for workplace advancement is one of the key motivating drivers for adults´ participation in lifelong learning. The need to ensure that learners have access to opportunities to develop new skills, in particular soft skills and digital skills, is essential for both personal development and organisational growth.
The Learning at Work Seminar will bring together employers, learners, education providers and policy makers to explore the benefits and challenges of learning at work through the perspective of learners and promote best practice models in this area. It will also highlight the programmes and funding opportunities available in Ireland for learning at work.
This event will be of interest to employers, adult learners in employment, further education and training providers, policy makers and other stakeholders in the area of adult learning.
Attendees are invited to a light lunch which will be served at 12.30pm before the seminar begins.
This event is part of the ‘Increasing Pathways, Increasing Participation’ 2017-2019 project.
