Launch of "Measuring the Impact of Adult Education in Northern Ireland: Current Practice and Ways Forward"

A report prepared by Dr Eve Cobain from AONTAS and Dr Colin Neilands from FALNI (Forum for Adult Learning NI) with research from the Alliance for Lifelong Learning.

Taking place on Thursday 10 April in Stormont in Belfast, this event will bring together adult education practitioners, academics, learners, key stakeholders including from the Department for the Economy.

This new research captures the impact of adult learning in Northern Ireland, and this event provides space for discussion between funders, educators and anyone interested in adult and community education. We will think about outcomes from this research and next steps for the research findings.

The event will also highlight the role and importance of the Alliance for Lifelong Learning for the VCSE sector, and will champion collaboration across the island of Ireland to benefit adult learners and practitioners.
