About this event

We’ve developed a storytelling training for community education providers to help educators and professionals promote empathy and social cohesion in their local communities.

This storytelling training is built on research and evidence-based methodologies that demonstrate that the process of telling and sharing stories help us make sense of the world in  a way that connects and resonates with others.

Workshop Content

  • Understanding the power of stories
  • Facilitating storytelling and digital storytelling workshops
  • Crafting compelling narratives
  • Collecting and curating stories

This workshop is both theoretical and experiential, and it will equip you with the necessary knowledge and tools to facilitate storytelling workshops. Attendees will also receive a handbook on how to develop and facilitate storytelling workshops in your own context.
