Successful Online Learning Methods and Considerations for Adult Educators

In this extended webinar, Lukas Dorda, Online Learning Manager with Johan Cruyff Institute provided an introduction to the internationally renowned Johan Cruyff Institute (JCI), and how it implements online learning opportunities.
Lukas talked about the many approaches they use to engage learners who include Olympians, Champions League and World Cup winners and how some of the processes could be used for adult learners in Ireland. During a Q&A session, AONTAS members had the opportunity to ask any questions.

One Year On From COVID-19

AONTAS CEO, Niamh O’Reilly gave an input focusing on some of the implications of COVID-19, including some preliminary findings from international research.
The session also included breakout sessions where AONTAS members had an opportunity to discuss issues and challenges that groups are facing at a local level.
AONTAS also shared information on our campaign – “One Year on from COVID-19” which aims to highlight and share information on the impact of COVID-19 on education provision, both from a learner and a provider’s perspective, and make a strong call for an increased focus on supporting educational equality.
