AONTAS Annual General Meeting 2019

AONTAS Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2019: Celebrating 50 years

We strongly encourage AONTAS members to attend the AONTAS Annual General Meeting (AGM) which takes place in the Ashling Hotel, Parkgate St, Dublin 8 on Wednesday, 22nd May 2019 at 10.00am – 2.00pm. Register for the AGM event through our online registration link at:

The AONTAS AGM serves as an important social space for members to link with adult learners and practitioners from across Ireland whether building new connections or reconnecting with friends and colleagues, this yearly event is worth prioritising.

Taking place in AONTAS’s fiftieth year, the 2019 AGM will be an exciting event, presenting an opportunity for members to reflect on the history of the organisation, to celebrate our collective achievements over the past fifty years, and look to the future with our new Strategic Plan.

As part of the meeting members will also have an important opportunity to feed into the development of the next SOLAS FET Strategy (2020-2024).

Nominations to the AONTAS Board

Please see below the list of AONTAS members who have been nominated to a position on the AONTAS Board. Please review the list and ensure that you attend the AGM to exercise your vote. As the number of nominations received exceeds the positions available on the Board there will be an election. If you cannot attend on the day please consider using a proxy vote, deadline for submission of proxy votes is 10am on Monday, 20th May 2019.

Please Note: In order to cast a vote and participate in the decision-making process members must have paid their membership in full for 2018.
