AONTAS Annual General Meeting 2021

We strongly encourage AONTAS members to attend the AONTAS Annual General Meeting (AGM) which takes place online on Wednesday, 20th October 2021 at 12.00 noon – 1.30pm.

This AGM will focus on acknowledging the immense effort of educators and learners over the last year, and look at how we can strengthen the adult learning community as a collective voice for educational equality. I would greatly appreciate if you could prioritize your participation. We will also have in-time voting for elections to the AONTAS Board as well as the statutory business of our AGM.

About the AONTAS Annual General Meeting (AGM)

  1. You must register for the AGM to receive a link to attend the online AGM meeting  for 20th October - please do so early.
  2. This year we will vote in-time during the AGM, you must register for the AGM to receive a link to the online voting

Closing date for AGM registration is Monday, 18th October at 12pm. Please note if you do not register by this date you will be unable to vote.


Members will be able to vote using the online voting platform during the AGM on the 20th October. The voting will be open during the online meeting only.

Paid up members are eligible to vote on the general AGM business:

PLEASE NOTE: Details about voting and further materials will be circulated to members prior to the Annual General Meeting (AGM) in accordance with the Constitution. 

Members may submit questions relating to the business of the meeting, in advance and no later than 11am on Monday, 18th October 2021 by email to or by post to the Company’s registered office. Relevant questions submitted using this mechanism will be addressed by the Chair at the meeting.
