This year’s Festival runs from Monday 3rd to Friday 7th March, and focuses on the theme “Connecting Communities.”
It explores how adult and community education is the bridge that connects communities across the island of Ireland.
We recently held a short online information session for anyone thinking of getting involved with the Festival and holding an event for adult learners or potential learners in your community.
We’re encouraging anyone working in adult and/or community education to get involved with the festival in your local community and bring people together with a coffee morning, information session, walk-and-talk, or sample class.
Your event can be whatever suits your learners or people from your community who might be curious about learning something new.
All we ask is that it is free and linked with adult and/or community education.
And we are here to help you promote and raise awareness of your work in adult and community education.
We offer FREE resources to promote your event. The first 30 groups to register your event on our website will receive a €100 voucher to support your event.
The first 100 events registered on our website can request a FREE resource pack to be posted out to you with printed posters, pens, bookmarks and flyers to help you celebrate.
