“This place saved my life, it helped me learn to live without addiction”

Meeting Petey Smith at the programme’s headquarters in Clonmel in Tipperary, we were struck by the passion and genuine love that he has developed for gardening. In his own words, the programme has “saved his life” and helped him to learn how to live without addiction. 

He describes gardening as “better than meditation” and feels the course has helped him to talk to people, something he could not do before.
