Tell us about your work on Climate Education and Just Transition
Tell us about your work on Climate Education and Just Transition, for a chance to receive €200 worth of educational resources
AONTAS are partners in an Erasmus+ funded project called Just4All – Adult Education for a Just Transition. Just Transition is the inclusive and equitable process of moving to a post-carbon society.
The Just4All project will develop four national background papers on just transition policies in Lifelong Learning and Adult Education, in Ireland, France, Sweden and Cyprus.
Tell us about your work!
As part of this project, we are asking adult and community education organisations and FET providers in Ireland to tell us about their work in Just Transitions and Climate Education. This will inform a 'background' paper about Ireland, which will provide an overview of policy, provision and current practice. All resources produced through the project will be open access and widely shared.
If your work has not already been documented as a case study in this project, we ask you to complete a short survey detailing the work that you do OR tell us what kind of work you would be interested in carrying out. The survey will close on Wednesday 24th April 2024.
Respondents will be included in a draw and be in with a chance to gain €200 worth of educational resources. See the full terms and conditions below.
Access the survey at https://www.menti.com/ald9izco3trj.
If you have any queries about the survey or the project, get in touch with our Community Education Officer Lorraine O’Connor.
Terms and Conditions
- The opportunity to be entered into the draw is available to charitable community education organisations. Other not-for-profit or statutory educational organisations are also very welcome to complete the survey and have their responses included.
- Survey responses must be as full as possible to be entered into the prize draw.
- AONTAS will provide €200 for selected survey respondents to buy educational resources for use in charitable community education settings.
- Selected respondents’ organisations will need to buy the resources and then claim payment from AONTAS. To make a claim, selected survey respondents will need to create an invoice for € 200 on organisational letter-headed paper and assemble the receipts or proofs for all costs. We can’t accept credit card/debit card statements as proof. These costs must relate to educational resources. Email the invoice and scans of all receipts/proofs to loconnor@aontas.com by 31st May 2024. AONTAS will be unable to reimburse claims made after this deadline.
- AONTAS reserves the right to withhold the payment of costs if a claim made is not for educational resources for use in charitable community education settings or the proof of costs are insufficient. We will pay the agreed costs by bank transfer to the account of a registered charitable/public organisation.
