ENHANCE
The ENHANCE Project is funded by the European Commission and focuses on making adult education more inclusive and participatory.
Our goal is to create learning environments where adults can take an active role in shaping their own learning. This helps increase engagement, improve outcomes, and build stronger, more inclusive communities.
To support this, ENHANCE is developing practical tools and approaches to help educators and organisations put learners’ voices at the centre of teaching and decision-making.
How We Work
The ENHANCE project works across three levels:
1 . Policy
We engage policymakers and civil society actors to promote inclusive, participatory, and democratic education systems that reflect learner needs and lived experiences.
2 . Organisational
We support adult education providers in designing and implementing learner-centred practices, ensuring participation is embedded in teaching, governance, and organisational culture.
3 . Learner
We empower adult learners—especially those who have experienced discrimination based on gender, social status, race, culture, or educational background – to have their voices heard, respected, and acted upon, both individually and collectively.
