About Learners as Leaders
AONTAS, in partnership with Development Perspectives, is delivering a Learners as Leaders programme in July 2021. The Learners as Leaders programme seeks to build the capacity of learners within the adult education sector.
About this event
The first workshop will cover the principles of Development Education which revolves around tackling the root causes of poverty, inequality and climate change through transformative education. The workshop will use experiential, participatory approaches to understanding the key issues which development education focuses on. At the end of the session, participants will discuss the possible opportunities to integrate development education into adult and community education using active citizenship as a focus.
