The war in Ukraine has brought to light many challenges that adult educators face when trying to support and work with refugees or those living in Direct Provision. In this 60-minute webinar, AONTAS welcomes educators to come together and discuss the issues that might be experienced by vulnerable learners as they come to Ireland and seek access to education. It will also explore the best approaches and examples currently available to help migrants and refugees successfully integrate into the Irish education system, and to support those most in need of services. This AONTAS webinar will feature Charlotte Byrne, Education Officer from the Irish Refugee Council with opportunities to share experiences and resources.
