AONTAS continues to create opportunities for our members to engage and learn each week as part of our very successful AONTAS Membership and Engagement Webinars. Dearbhail Lawless, AONTAS Head of Advocacy explored the areas of fake news, anti-racism, democracy, solidarity, and critical thinking.
We looked at our new Methodology Handbook and adult learning activities as part of our Communicating Europe Initiative (CEI) project "Adult Learning and Global Citizenship: Sustaining European Cohesion and Challenging the Politics of Fear”.

#LearningForChange Part 2 - Exploring the areas of fake news, anti-racism, democracy, solidarity, and critical thinking.
This session was aimed at tutors, facilitators and practitioners and included practical activities and topic focussed discussions. We enjoyed valuable inputs from Shane O'Curry, Director of the Irish Network Against Racism (INAR), and Dr. Christopher Dwyer of the School of Health Sciences & Centre for Adult Learning and Professional Development at NUI Galway.
