Are you a community education provider? Have your say on the impact of the Mitigating Against Educational Disadvantage (MAED) Fund.

AONTAS wants to share the experience and perspectives of community education providers about the MAED Fund.

After the first round of the fund, we developed recommendations through our report Making an Impact: A Reflective View of the Mitigating Against Educational Disadvantage Fund (MAEDF). These recommendations have been shared with The Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science, Education and Training Board Ireland, SOLAS, Education and Training Boards around Ireland, and other key stakeholders.

Please have your say and complete this short survey here.

AONTAS will use this information to identify and show the impact of the second round of MAED Funding in the community education sector.

We will showcase the diversity of learners and the impact this additional funding has made on their lives and for their learning.

AONTAS will develop policy recommendations, create a report, and work with colleagues in SOLAS and the ETBs to improve the fund and the process going forward.

Members who complete the survey before Friday, 11th February 2022 will be entered into a draw with a chance of winning a €50 book voucher for your organisation.

For queries or for more information about the survey or about the MAED Fund, please contact Dearbháil Lawless, AONTAS Head of Advocacy, at: dlawless@aontas.com
