AONTAS has three categories of membership: Organisational, Individual and Partnership.

Our membership includes learners, mature students, educational organisations, community groups and many other groups that are committed to lifelong learning.

Organisational Membership

Who should apply?

Organisations involved in adult education - community groups, educational institutions, groups of learners, statutory, voluntary and private organisations.

Small organisations: €40 (annual income €0 - 80,000)

Medium organisations: €150 (annual income €80,000 - €250,000)

Larger organisations: €300 (annual income €250,000 +)

Organisational fees are based on the annual income of your organisation.

Individual Membership

Who should apply?

Individuals interested in adult education - adult learners, tutors, adult educators, coordinators and guidance counsellors. 

Regular fee: €30
Reduced fee (Unwaged): €10

The reduced individual fee is applicable to unwaged individuals.

Associate Partnership

Who should apply?

The AONTAS Associate Partnership is available to international organisations that share the same goals, mission, vision and values. 

All applications for partnerships are subject to the approval of our Board. There is no financial cost for this partnership, instead it is based on reciprocity of services.
