This year’s theme, Shaping Europe’s Future through Adult Education, will spark discussion, learning, and action on the role of education in addressing the challenges and opportunities facing communities across Ireland and Europe.

If you’d like to arrange to pay by invoice get in touch with mail@aontas.com.

What To Expect

At last year’s Summit, we came away even stronger in our conviction that education is political.

It shapes how we understand the world, how we participate in society, and how we respond to the challenges of our time.

The AONTAS Adult Education Summit 2026 will bring together learner voices, community education organisations, researchers, artists, and changemakers from across Ireland and Europe to explore the power of adult and community education to drive social change. Through workshops, exhibitions, performances, discussion, and debate, the Summit will showcase the impact of adult learning in communities and create space for reflection, action, and hope.

Join us for two days of conversation, creativity, solidarity, and learning.
