This April, we were asked by the Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science (DFHERIS) to facilitate adult learners to share their ideas and perspectives on the cost of education in Ireland. This “Funding the Future: The Cost of Education” event took place in the Midlands Hotel in Portlaoise on Thursday 11th April.

AONTAS AGM 2024: Positions Open on the AONTAS Board of Directors

Our research has found that learners in adult and community education are likely to be more exposed to societal inequalities that create barriers to education. At our “Who Does It Cost?” policy discussion, as part of the annual Adult Learners’ Festival in March 2024, we asked our members and stakeholders what they think can be done with greater investment in adult learners.
Partner UP European Project Meeting in Dublin
