Funding has been announced for community education by Minister Simon Harris TD, Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science, the latest round of the Reach Fund.

City of Dublin Education and Training Board (ETB) have announced that the REACH Fund 2023, which is distributed by SOLAS, is now open. Applications close on 26th May 2023 at 5pm.

People learn skills and expertise in their everyday life, communities and workplaces, and can be extremely knowledgeable in an area without having formal education and training in it. An example of this is someone in a caring role with children, older people, or people with disabilities.

There is new funding available through SOLAS to support public, community, voluntary, and non-profit groups and organisations to help people with all forms of literacy. Deadline for applications is 5pm on Friday, 14th April 2023.
