We are inviting practitioners working within independent community education organisations to participate in focus groups as part of a new research project, Community Education for Social Transformation.
The research explores the current state of community education in Ireland (Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland), its value to learners and communities, and the impact of funding and policy shifts on practice.
In undertaking this research we want to produce evidence that supports a reimagined, sustainably funded community education model that restores its transformative potential and stimulates the collective modes of action that are so urgently needed in our society.
We welcome participants to attend the second focus group session on 19th August from 2-3pm, although there's no obligation to join both sessions.
