I never thought I was good enough to be out the front, talking to people, dealing with customers
I went to class on the first day not knowing what to expect, I was extremely anxious and nervous. But having made it to the last day of class I can honestly say that my journey has been a very positive one. I never thought I was good enough to be out the front, talking to people, dealing with customers. I always stayed out the back where no one could see me – that knocks your confidence. I didn’t believe in myself or that I could do anything worth-while.
I have a better belief in myself and my ability to achieve different things
I have to say thank you to the retail course and our lovely mentor Karen, it has given me so much confidence and a new focus. I really looked forward to every class, going in to a great bunch of women. It has been one of the most enjoyable experiences, Karen our mentor was brilliant in every way, woman to woman, as a mentor she was always available for any support we might need. I feel I have gained so much so far and I am really looking forward to the future. I started a computer course a few weeks into starting the retail course. I have a better belief in myself and my ability to achieve different things; I have so much more confidence thanks to this course.
